{name} was an extremely adventurous boy. Often times he would find himself lost in the woods far past his curfew just wishing he could find his way home. And every time he realized he was lost, he would hear a familiar booming voice that shouted, "{name}! Get over here!" just as his father's shadowy silhouette appeared in the distance.

Chapter 2

A Twist of Fate

One day, {name} once again found himself lost in the dark forest. Dreadfully afraid of the creepy crawlies and ferocious forest critters, he began to run. He ran as fast as he could, searching for any sign of an exit. After what seemed like an eternity of running, his limbs grew tired. He still had not heard his father's thunderous voice. He broke down and cried. "I'm completely lost and I'll never find my way out of here," he thought to himself.

Beginning to calm down, he closed his eyes and wiped them softly with his tattered mess of a sleeve of a sleeve. When his eyes opened, there was a large cave in front of him. He carefully examined the structure, wondering where it had come from and how it had gotten here so quickly. As he approached it, he felt an ominous sense of terror looming about the cave.

Despite his eerie feelings, he peered into the blackness... Fearing he might get lost even more, he quickly turned away...

Chapter 3

A Centrifuge of Horror

As he stared into the dismal cavern, he was overwhelmed with a ghastly sense of curiosity. He quickly stepped into the abyss. He took another step into it. Then another. And another. He began to jog. He started running. Before he knew it, he was sprinting headlong into the unknown.

Without warning, the ground gave way beneath his feet. His limp body fell through the thick darkness, yet his soul continued dashing through the grim chasm. "It was only slowing me down," he thought to himself. Before he could finish, his thoughts crashed off the walls, roaring back into his mind like a deafening shockwave. His phantasmal figure began to toss and turn through the void, spinning out of control.

"Enough!" he shouted. "I'm leaving!" He continued to silently float through the fissure...

Chapter 3

An Ocean of Misery

{name} fled from the mysterious cave as quickly as he could, but his limbs quickly gave in from fatigue. His body crumpled into the ground, landing face first in a puddle. He shuffled his weight to breathe, but he found himself caught in the undergrowth. His body fought to regain control but the foliage held fast.

As he began to panic, his conciousness drifted in and out. His vision blurred and his thoughts became a tangled mess. Within moments, his mind went completely blank, yet his body continued to struggle with the vines. He clawed and ripped at the fibrous whips, but they just kept returning. He tore swaths of the rope from the ground but still they restrained him.

His muscles became relentless, shredding vine after vine after vine... Despite his body's primal ferocity, the endless plants overpowered him...

Chapter 4

A Flicker of Lightning

His vaporous form came to a complete halt. "Take me back!" he screamed. Nothing happened. "Now!" he shouted. He floated silently as the echoes bounced off of the imaginary bounds of the cave. "If you don't want to be here, why did you come here?" snapped the darkness. "You brought me here! Return me!" {name} retorted. "Oh my, did I? My apologies. Follow the light back to the exit," spoke the cave.

As he finished his last syllable, the ominous blackness became a blinding white light and a thunderous crash rang throughout the chaos. {name} was suddenly even more lost. He could barely hold his eyes open against the brilliant white expanse. He spun his ghostly form around, hoping to find any familiar landmark in the radiance, but he couldn't see a single imperfection in the light. He screamed into the blinding world but not a single sound came out. Suddenly, a unintelligible whisper filled the emptiness. {name} held his breath to hear the sounds, but they dimmed to a dull hum and then faded into silence. Before he could muster enough thought to pray, {name}'s soul evaporated into the infinite expanse.

Chapter 4

A Spark of Flame

As {name} drifted through time and space, a raspy voice began to penetrate his thoughts. "What are you doing here?" it whispered. "Why have you chosen to enter MY realm?" "How did you get here?" "Remove yourself from my presence at once!" {name} heard the voice but his spirit couldn't formulate a response. "Answer me before I set your world ablaze!" crackled the voice, but {name} simply stared into the expanse. In a final fit of intensity, the voice began to boom at his lifeless, ethereal shape. "Your fate has been sealed!" it shouted.

Before {name} could fully process the sentence, the world was set alight with a vicious flame that ravaged through the blackness like a rampant forest fire. The darkness was annihilated, leaving the world bathed in a vicious orange hue. {name}'s silhouette began to melt into the world, dripping into a dejected pile of human memories and emotions. As he melted, his conciousness slowly slipped away, burned away by the intense heat of the inferno.

Chapter 4

A Deluge of Life

His body became an unstoppable force of primal wrath, swiping everything that attempted to hold him down. His appendages reached and grabbed at anything that moved, uprooting whole trees from the swamp. As he clawed at the vines, they began to dance and writhe like a snake about to strike. Suddenly, they began to chant and whisper. At first, it was merely garble, but it slowly became a chorus of voices. "Forfeit this battle at once!" they spoke, "or die a wretched death at the hands of our venom!"

Without his mind to interpret the words, they meant nothing to him. His body continued to reap the living plants without end, but they outgrew his advances. The viper-like vines began striking at the primitive being. Within moments, they had recaptured and restrained him completely. His mouth foamed with rage and his muscles pulsed as his heart sent blood coursing through his veins. His eyes were nearly bursting from their sockets when a single vine dangled into his view from above. The faintly glowing vine came to rest directly above his face and began to drip a dreadful poison into his mouth. Within moments of ingestion, the toxin took hold of his body, paralyzing it from the inside out. His limbs grew limp, his heart ceased to beat, and his eyes rolled back in his head.

Chapter 4

A Seed of Water

His body succumbed to the voracious shrubbery, slowly falling back into the puddle. The water rippled away from him as his his skull collided with the surface. His body collapsed completely into a state of tranquility as his spirit sat in a tree, watching the events that had just taken place from above. From beneath the surface, a calm voice gurgled into the air. "Welcome to my domain. I hope you feel thoroughly relaxed in your new home."

His body suddenly convulsed trying to get his head above the surface. His lungs were ready to burst. His instincts forced him to writhe and wriggle in a desperate attempt to inhale. After a few moments, he finally broke free of the watery prison. He spun around onto his back, staring straight at his ghostly figure high above. His eyes screamed in agony as the vines tightened their grasp on his frame. Slowly the water began to rise, engulfing his entire figure. Bubbles burst forth from his mouth as he howled at his useless spirit.
